Hi from Santa Barbara. Not sure what you are making exactly (messenger bag is my guess), but it might be cool to write a piece about your experience or do a review of the actual product (if you plan on distributing) for our site, Carryology.
We are big bag fans (of all types) and I am a cyclist. The team is from Australia but I am your neighbor just up the coast.
It is a bicycle frame bag for the top / inside of the main triangle. I am blending some of the designs from the ultra light bikepacking comunity with the more traditional cotton duck bags on the market. I hope to complement the front and rear bags made by Acorn, Rivendell and Carradice.
Also, nice site, I will shoot you a review once I have done a bit of field testing.
